FlirtScore ("the app", "we", "us") analyzes WhatsApp conversations you choose to import and produces an AI relationship report. This policy explains what we collect, how we collect it, why we use it, and when data is shared with third-party AI services.

- We do not require an account, your name, email, or phone number.
- We do not sell your data or use it for advertising.
- Chat content is processed to generate your report and is not used to identify you.
- We ask for your explicit consent in the app before any chat data is sent for AI analysis.
What data is collected
Chat content you import. When you run an analysis, your chat is parsed on your device. A condensed sample of messages (up to 50 excerpts), participant names, and aggregate statistics may be transmitted to generate your report. Your full chat export file is not uploaded.
Anonymous identifier. We use Firebase Anonymous Authentication to create a random identifier so your reports can be associated with your device. This identifier is not linked to your real-world identity.
Diagnostics & usage. We use Firebase Analytics and Crashlytics to collect aggregate, non-identifying usage and crash data to improve reliability.
Purchases. Subscriptions and optional consumable analysis packs are processed by Apple and managed via RevenueCat. We receive purchase status (active plan, entitlement, and redeemed pack credits), not your payment details.
How data is collected
- On your device — you import or share a WhatsApp export; parsing happens locally first.
- With your permission — before the first AI analysis, the app shows a consent screen. Analysis does not proceed unless you tap I Agree.
- On our servers — after consent, a Firebase Cloud Function receives the condensed sample and calls our AI provider.
- From Apple / RevenueCat — subscription status only, not payment card details.
Why data is used
- To generate your AI relationship analysis report.
- To enforce subscription entitlements and analysis quotas.
- To store your report history in your anonymous account record.
- To improve app reliability through aggregate diagnostics.
We do not use your chat content for advertising, profiling, or resale.
Third-party AI services
Certain user-provided chat content is shared with Google Gemini (via Google Firebase Cloud Functions) solely to generate AI-powered analysis responses. We send only the minimum data required for the report.
- Apple — App Store purchases and subscription management.
- Google Firebase (Authentication, Cloud Functions, Firestore, Analytics, Crashlytics, App Check).
- Google Gemini API — generates the AI report from the submitted sample.
- RevenueCat — subscription and in-app purchase validation.
Data retention
The condensed sample sent for analysis is processed transiently to produce the report. Generated reports are retained in your account record until you delete the app data or request deletion. Aggregate analytics/crash data are retained per the providers' standard policies.
Your choices
- You can decline AI data processing — analysis will not run without your consent.
- You can delete saved reports in the app.
- You can request deletion of your account data by contacting us.
- You can manage or cancel subscriptions in Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions.
Children
FlirtScore is not directed to children under 13 (or the minimum age in your region) and we do not knowingly process their data.
